As we were talking around they were slowly bring all of the Boardwalk's
rides to life readying them also for the day.
The Kemah Boardwalk might not occupy much more than maybe ten acres but
for such a small space I was impressed with the amount of rides they have.
You've got the Boardwalk Bullet for us adventurous types to the Ferris
Wheel for everyone to...
...these planes for the budding thrill seekers.
Outside of the rides there are shops and a ton of fantastic restaurants
at the Kemah Boardwalk including Landry's Seafood House. If you
want fantastic seafood this is the place to go. I had the fried clams
for lunch and they were wonderful.
Now this wasn't actually my first trip to the Kemah Boardwalk as I had
been here before while wearing a really ugly tux back in the late 1980's
for my then girlfriend's Junior Prom. Had they had the rides there
back then I'd have probably done more riding and less dancing.
