Custom Coasters really brought wooden coasters back into style with
medium sized thrill packed rides for smaller parks when the big chains
like Six Flags or Cedar Fair were only adding massive steel looping
behemoths.
Without rides like the Hoosier Hurricane here at Indiana Beach or The
Raven at Holiday World
helping parks rediscover the traditional thrill and feel of a wooden
coaster we might not have coasters from the likes of The Gravity Group,
Great Coasters International, or Rocky Mountain Construction today.
Taking away this coasters historical significance the Hoosier is
still a super fun coaster that is absolutely perfect for Indiana beach.
While I'm not a big fan of "up charge attractions" where you have to pay
more to experience at parks Frankenstein's Castle is an exception that
I'll gladly pay to go through.
Frankenstein's Castle is a super rare traditional walk through haunted
house that is as much fun walking through today as when my sister and I
first took a ride on the creaky elevator that kicks off your adventure
so many decades ago.
