The Cyclone just like its predecessor was built on a pier completely surrounded by water slides.



Indiana Beach's old Galaxi coaster reached its end of life and was removed from Indiana Beach in 2013.



Understanding that at a park like Indiana Beach keeping the past alive is important, after reopening Indiana Beach one of the first thing that Gene Staples did was find another Zyclon model coaster to bring back this classic experience to the boardwalk.



The Cyclone's quick dips and helices are as an essential Indiana Beach experience as a trip to the Taco Stand or to feed the fish.



The only negative about the Cyclone is that it only had a single car running which meant that you will end up waiting a bit whenever you want to go for a ride.  Hopefully the staff at Indiana Beach can bring back multiple trains or at least the two car train to improve capacity.
