Part of Indiana Beach's charm is that the park is an old school seaside boardwalk that somehow came to be in the middle of Indiana.

Any good boardwalk needs a great dark ride and Indiana Beach has the Den of Lost Thieves.

The Den of Lost Thieves is a shoot 'em up dark ride designed by Sally Dark Rides in 1998.

Sally Dark Rides took over the old Mystery Mansion dark ride that Indiana Beach built themselves in 1969 and went all pirate with it.

Another addition to Indiana Beach under the ownership of Gene Staples was the addition of this classic Polyp ride that previously ran at Chicago's Kiddieland Park. While I can't ride this for fear of spoiling my day at the park, one has to love the grumpy looking cars.
