There is just a fantastic moment of hang time here that I totally
love. The sad thing is that the only that keeps Steel Hawg from being
perfect is a result of this hang time. The restraints are covered
with really hard foam rubber that are pretty rough and when I got home and
took off my shirt I found massive bruise marks on my shoulders. Now
I don't bruise easily but also we also rode Steel Hawg fifteen times so
the regular rider who may do one or two laps on it might not have this problem.
After diving headfirst to the ground and doing another 180 it's time to
get ready for Steel Hawg's finale.
You come around the curve and see the track pointed down at the ground in
a shallow angle with the track twisted around your path of direction.
Steel Hawg's final inversion is a heart-line roll that's angled downward.
It sends you head over heels as the ground rapidly approaches.
