I love Indiana Beach.  It's one of my favorite parks with it's quirky atmosphere and great rides so after hearing that they were going to be open after Labor Day the thought was that it would be a fantastic time to go since chances are the park would be dead.  So Carrie, Bond and I headed back to Indiana, crashed over at Brian's house and then headed to the park with Andy tagging along with all of us.

I normally park in Indiana Beach's South lot and cross the suspension bridge into the park but this time we decided to give the North Lot a try and were greeted with this gorgeous vista as we approached the park.

Up until this year Indiana Beach had been owned and operated by the Spackman Family for seventy-five years.  To everyone's surprise half the way through last winter they announced that they had sold the park, hotels and campground to Morgan RV Resorts.   I was curious to see what changes they made and if they were going to keep Indiana Beach's quirkiness that endears it to so many.

Once our admissions were purchased and all day ride wristband's on we stumbled through the gates with our eyes skyward instead on where we were walking since Steel Hawg commanded our attention.
