It was a little strange seeing the trees starting to bud out but as warm
a winter as we have had
I shouldn't be surprised.

Heading from The Legend to The Voyage and Thunderbird we took a shortcut
through Splashin' Safari. I can remember when it consisted of a
lazy river, two water slides and The Wave. Now Splashin' Safari has
two wave pools, a giant lazy river, two water coasters, two interactive
play areas and more slides than I can recall.

Towering over Splashin' Safari and pretty much everything at Holiday
World is The Voyage.

It was great getting back out by The Voyage. One of the fondest
things that I remember from living in Santa Claus for the five years we
were here was watching The Voyage take place from the first tree being
cut down (a little bird told me where and when to look months before the
announcement) to the rides completion.

Bond was thrilled to be back in his playland but the grin on his face
was almost certainly due to getting one of the hundreds of daily texts
from his girlfriend. The one big plus to him dating is his phone
is always charged now and he actually checks his texts.
