I know they had good reasons to tweak it, most of them being maintenance related but at least on this visit the old spark is not there for me. With The Voyage, Raven and Thunderbird there running as amazing as ever I had a hard time getting excited to hop on the Legend.

When Bond was little whenever we passed these he loved to run up and stick his face through the holes and make a silly face. Had we been in possession of a smartphone back then I am certain we would have a few thousand photos of him sticking his face through a hole and hamming it up. I reminded Bond of how he loved them and as a result Charlotte pulled him off to one and we snapped this photo,

As usual the Hallowswings was always a complete joy to ride especially as the daylight becomes scarce and night comes upon us. A little side note I was surprised to hear Alice Cooper in the playlist for Halloween. "Welcome to my Nightmare" has always been a favorite of mine and perfect for the area.

Shows have never been my big thing but we sat down and checked out the World of Wonder show and I have to say that Holiday World has certainly taken their shows up a few notches. The show was kind of a Cirque du Solei musical and aerobatic show that was extremely good. Plus they really pushed what they could do with the tiny stage to the limits. If they are going to continue to build up shows with live bands, aerialists, dancers and performers one of these years they might want to build a new theater at some point.

As with any park visit we got all we could out of the day with ride after ride and had all the fun we could with our friends.

Unfortunately though each day comes to an end. I had a great time with Todd, Joe and Jacob and I am pretty sure after seeing the huge grin on his face after going off to goodnight to Charlotte he had a really amazing time.

With a very busy fall we are not going to make it back this year but I kind of suspect we will be back a few times next year.
