Thunderbird at night even with the wingtip lights is a disorienting
flight through the woods.
Like every event we go to all of us from Negative-G rode until the park
kicked us out. No big deal as we had a full day of 10 am until midnight
to enjoy Holiday World again.
Holiday World opens a few rides before the park officially opens like the
Lewis and Clark Trail car ride so we got in line. Besides Bond wanted
a little more driving practice now that he has his learners permit.
I do have to say that with the guide rail keeping the car on the road these
driving practice sessions are more relaxing than those with him out on the
open road. He is really a very good driver but I guess as a parent
I have a tough time wrapping my head around him driving a real car.
Hey they moved the Carousel. It used to sit a hundred or so feet away
on the site of the old Thunder Bumpers bumper boats. I hated the old
carousel building because the paint job was just gaudy while this one looks
great. The old building just stuck out like a sore thumb while this
one fits the area and looks like a carousel house should.
