The New For 2006 at Holiday World, Santa Claus, Indiana

Getting back to how the day went. After a bunch of rides on The Voyage it was time for the christening of The Voyage. Will Koch spoke a bit about the coaster and the park's history this being the 60th anniversary of opening and then the two Mrs. Koch's his mother and his wife broke the bottles and The Voyage was on her way.

New For 2006 Voyage Rollercoaster at Holiday World, Santa Claus, Indiana

Outside of the really cool ride part of The Voyage it has a system of tracks that lead into and out of The Voyage's storage/work bays.

As the train heads into it instead of resting on the road wheels it transfers onto the upstop wheels so that Holiday World's maintenance personnel can get to the different parts a whole lot easier.

As I write this it's over twenty-four hours since I first rode The Voyage and I have sore muscles somewhere I have never had before; in my cheeks from all of the grinning I did yesterday riding The Voyage.
