2006 Construction Update

What's this poking up above the tree line?  Of course it's part of The Voyage's first drop.  I have to admit that when I saw this while coming home from a week away for work my heart skipped a beat.




Down in the valley things are progressing.  There is some work going on with the stream and if I'm correct The Voyage's station is going to sit right where that excavator is.



There were also some footers being poured in the general vicinity of The Voyage's station.  Maybe we'll see this going up some time soon.  I do think that we will see more of The Voyage's first three hills over the coming weeks because I could see them wanting to get that done before winter sets in.  Who in their right mind would want to be 154 feet above ground when the temperatures start to head on down towards zero.
