Here's a closer shot of that hill.  Basically on the track tour we walked from the station back through the helix to right before this hill.  It took us an hour to walk it and what I don't understand is that Jeff Hammersly (Holiday World's coaster keeper) can walk the Legend in under 5 minutes and that includes going up and down the lift hill.  He did it in the dark and right after a bad thunderstorm, it was unbelievable...the whole station cheered him when he came back in.



On any visit to Holiday World it would be criminal not to pay any attention to the Raven.  Jeff and the rest of the staff at Holiday World has really kept up this wonderful ride through the years and it seems that as it gets older it's getting better and better.



Here is another  view of the Raven's infamous drop #5!  If you've never been on this it's a nice surprise drop half the way through the ride.



The Raven is getting some TLC in the off season.  They have had problems with the turns in years past with a little roughness here so they are putting brand new track to fix the problem.  Not only has the Raven had work done on the turns here but the lake turnaround has been redone so I expect a little speed increase for the second half of the Raven this year which make the ride through the woods feel even more out of control.
