The Comet Rollercoaster at Hersheypark, Hershey, Pennsylvania

With The Comet's turns high off the ground those are the moments you can breathe between all of the low airtime hills which are taken at high speed that the Philadelphia Toboggan Company's Herbert Schmeck designed to give it a thrill that still keeps riders coming back seventy years later.

Here is John geeking out over coaster one of our five day, seven park Pennsylvania trip.

The first stop was Hersheypark's oldest coaster and the second stop was right next door at Hersheypark's tallest coaster: Skyrush.

John was all psyched to ride Skyrush with as much of a reputation the ride has for being violently aggressive which is just the sort of ride that he likes.

Skyrush has one hell of a step lift hill and with a cable lift instead of the traditional chain you are yanked out of the station and shot up and over the hill.
