Six Flags The Great Escape 2014

The Comet is all the way in the back of the park behind The Great Escape's water park as that was the only place where they could fit the structure in.  The last time I visited there was nothing back by The Comet.  The Extreme Supernova is a new addition to The Great Escape.  I like larger rides like this but little ones like this spin a bit too fast for what I am able take.

On our way back out of the park we made sure to stop by the Alpine Bobsled to see if it was up and running yet.  One look was all it took to see that yet again I would not be able to ride it at The Great Escape.

The building for the Blizzard looks totally cheesy but I absolutely love it.  The Blizzard is an enclosed Scrambler that has lights and sound effects to give you a freezing white out even during the warmest days of summer.

Any ride that takes me somewhere at a nice relaxed pace and gives me the chance to sit down is a favorite of mine.

The Sky Ride takes you across the Storytown and International Village sections of The Great Escape.  It gives me a chance to get off of my feet but more importantly it is one of the rare rides that I can take with my wife.
