What makes Quicksilver a really exceptional mine train; besides having some of the best scenery of any coaster, is that despite being such a short ride it uses the terrain to the maximum effect.



Quicksilver Express never slows down.



For those who have been reading me for a while you know that I am a huge fan of terrain coasters, coasters that are surrounded by trees and mine trains.



It is a tough call but I have to say that Quicksilver Express is one of the best mine train coasters that I have ever been on.  It is right up there with Roadrunner Express at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Thunderation at Silver Dollar City.

Despite only spending a couple of hours at Gilroy Gardens I could have spent the rest of the day just riding Quicksilver Express over and over.



Gilroy Gardens is just so magnificent.
