Before completing our whirlwind tour of Fun Spot here's one last view of Afterburner for you.

Like Cedar Point Fun Spot has a Calypso. Unfortunately as it's new for this year it was not quite up and running when we were there.

This water fountain brought back childhood memories. Down the street from my grandmothers in Riverdale, Illinois was a nice park that housed a building that was dedicated to my grandfather Benjamin Reitz. Right in front of the building was one of these lions head water fountains. Yeah it's kind of cheesy but as kid I thought it was the coolest water fountain ever and had to use it before running off to the playground.

The lady in Fun Spot's new gift shop said their carousel is a classic. It didn't look it to us but after digging around on the net it turns out that is a classic Alan Herschell carousel from 1929.
