The Silver Bullet is a "Looping Star" model coaster that Anton designed
both portable versions like this one and permanent park models like the
long gone Jet Scream at Six Flags St. Louis or the Viper at Six Flags Astroworld
(both of which were the same coaster - Six Flags liked to send all of their
used coasters to Astroworld).
The obvious difference between the portable and park model Looping Star
coasters is that the portable ones like Silver Bullet were designed to be
easily broken down, loaded up onto a convoy of trucks and hauled to the
next fair or carnival. You don't really see any fairs or carnivals
here in the states with huge looping coasters like this one but in Europe
you have massive fairs like Munich's Oktoberfest where portable coasters
like Anton's Olympia Looping Bahn that is 110 feet tall and has five loops
are a staple on the midway.
Unlike the designs by Arrow the coasters that Anton designed flow from element
to element.
Silver Bullet occupies a space of 103 by 252 feet so there is not a lot
of room for long straightaways so there are plenty of twists and turns.
After a spiraling drop and the loop Silver Bullet turns you from side to
side as it sends you through a figure eight from end to end of its small
fooptprint.
