From the second drop it is back through the loop, up the first drop and back into the station in reverse.

Arrow Dynamics built eight of these back in the 1970's and like many of their looping coasters these are a dying breed with only three left running. Yeah, they are not the most exciting rides (although a train with lap bars would drastically improve it) but they are an interesting and rare ride experience.

The Hangman is one of the newer rides at Frontier City. The ride shoots you up to the top of the tower where you hang there for a few seconds before plummeting back down to the ground. It sounds fun but it was not up and running when we were there.

The Quick Draw Dark Ride at Frontier City Theme Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Quick Draw was the big surprise of our visit to Frontier City.

I hadn't heard a thing at all about this ride and it ended up being a favorite of Bond and myself. Quick Draw is a shoot-em-up dark ride by Sally Dark Rides.

Quick Draw takes you through a wonderfully air conditioned wild west town where it is your job to take care of a bandit infestation as a newly deputized marshal. Shoot-em-up dark rides like this are a favorite of ours because Bond is a pretty decent shot and we always have fun seeing who can outshoot each other.
