Here are both of the coasters we yet had to ride all nice and neat
in a single photograph. Talon is the brightly colored inverted coaster
and in the foreground is Dorney Park's Wild Mouse.
Dorney Park's Wild Mouse is a standard Mauer Sohne version of the classic
ride. There are lots of dips and unbanked turns so you can slam back
and forth into your friends like Draven and Bond did.
I hate upcharge attractions at amusement parks. I mean you already
paid to park and you paid to get in and now you have to pay extra for certain
rides, come on. This ride is an exception.
The reason that Dorney Park's 8 seat S&S Powersports Screaming Swing
is an exception in my book is costs just $2 to ride and these very small
Screaming Swing's are significantly more intense than the huge 32-40 seat
models.
If you don't know what a Screaming Swing is the ride concept is very simple.
Just take your backyard swing and scale it up a hundred times and then have
giant pistons that are powered by compressed air shoot you back and forth
and you have a Screaming Swing.
