The Firechaser Express rollercoaster at Dollywood Theme Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

FireChaser Express is a family launched coaster made by Gerstlauer. In theming the ride Dollywood added a lot of heart to it by honoring local firefighters and EMT's and letting sign one of the fire hoses that hang in FireChaser Expresses' station.

FireChaser Express is a really unique and fun coaster.

It is a family coaster that is not too extreme or intense.

What really makes it unique is that it is a launched coaster that shoots you forward and in reverse. FireChaser Express starts by launching you out of the fire station as you are on your way to blow our a four alarm fire.

After spiraling around the hillside that used to be the location of the Adventure Mountain ropes course FireChaser Express hits the lift. Now I know you heard launched coaster and that it goes forwards and reverse but it is not a shuttle coaster.
