The highlight of the day besides
the park and coasters was this band. Scor Patrol were at the park
for the Festival of Nations and their lively drum and bagpipe music
had even the oldest people in the audience rocking to their tunes.
These guys were so good we came back for a second show. I hope
Dollywood or any other park brings them back to the states because I'm
there if they do.
Another way to cool off at
Dollywood is to take a wild river trip down the Smoky Mountain River
Rampage.
One of the things that I really
enjoyed about the Smoky Mountain River Rampage is that the midway is
right next to it so it's fun to watch even if you don't get on for a
trip.
To me the sound of moving and
falling water is relaxing and all throughout the Craftsmen's Valley
section of Dollywood is an extensive aqueduct and water wheel system.
