Ok, getting back to the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad after that trip down memory lane that morphed into a motivational speach.



The finale of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is my favorite part of the ride.  Not only does the ride splashdown (simulated) but it dives under some exposed dinosaur bones.  One of the things I used to geek out about when I was a kid were fossils and when I laid eyes on this view back then it took my breath away.  To be honest it still does.



Each of the trains on Big Thunder Mountain has its own name.  This one is I.M. Fearless.



My favorite train is this one as it is named I.M. Loco.

That's all for my first and longest coaster love.



On our whirlwind tour of Disneyland we find ourselves in the land of make believe; Fantasyland.

The Storybook Land Canal Boats is a trip through miniature lands from fairy tales and Disney animated movies.  You even get to be swallowed by Monstro the Whale just like Pinocchio.
