From the videos that I've seen of the Blue Streak it looks like the turnaround is no safe haven, instead the train flies around it before heading back into another series of airtime laden hills.

When visiting Conneaut Lake Park if you want to get a closer look at the Blue Streak take a right as you enter the park and head back into the picnic grove that's right next to the turnaround.

I wasn't the only person back in the picnic area to check out the Blue Streak, a few other enthusiasts from the Wood Coaster Club had made a pilgrimage to try and catch a ride on the Blue Streak.
