I'm surprised I didn't get ran over or had my pocket picked as standing under these seven neon letters I was pretty much in awe.

I pulled eight dollars out of my wallet, gave it to the lady at the ticket booth and headed on for one hell of a ride.

The running of the Cyclone hasn't changed hardly at all since it opened in 1927.  It still uses skid brakes and the operators still use levers to dispatch trains.  There's no need for computers or any of that stuff, this ride is all old school.

It is $8 to ride and $5 to re-ride.  Those who whip out the fivers for another lap get preferred seating but they let you wait until the seat you want is open.

A little suggestion is if you want multiple rides make sure you have a few five dollar bills in an easily accessible pocket.
