When we saw this the three of us were really excited. The Falcon Fall as it is
literally an adult sized "Frog Hopper" ride that takes you up and
bounces your way up and down. Frog Hoppers are so much fun it is
awesome to see a version that adults can ride without needing a kid, or
getting weird looks from the nearby parents. Sadly, it was not up
and running during our visit which was a dissappointment.
The Swinging Gibbons is a smaller version of your standard "Flying
Carousel" ride. As it has a weight limit that all three of us
exceeded, unfortunately we had to pass this one up.
Mission Macaw is a Larson International "Flying Scooters" ride.
Even though these modern variations of the classic flying scooter rides
are no where near as thrilling as those that were made by Bisch-Rocco
back in the middle of the 20th century, they are still fun.
A ride that was open and that we could ride was the Safari Stampede.
Safari Stampede is a miniature version of a "Matterhorn" ride that are
common at fairs and parks around the world. Travis was looking forward
to more of the big sized Matterhorn thrills but the thrills were
proportional to the size of the ride. Travis said it was still fun,
just not as much fun as he was looking for.
