Being in contact with Terra Firma again the ride was over.

What no re-rides?
That was awesome! The freedom, sensation and adrenaline rush of leaving
a perfectly good plane and plummeting 14,500 feet to the ground is something
that I'd suggest to anyone. It was such a good time every nice day
since then I have found myself looking up in the sky and thinking "Today
would be a good day to jump". I am going to do it again and the next
time I want to bring a bunch of you with me as the more the merrier.

High as a kite on adrenaline...yep!
So was skydiving better than coasters? No but it sure as heck is one
of those experiences that you will remember in detail for the rest of your
life. The rest of the day seemed to go by in slow speed as the thought
went through my head again and again was of falling through the sky.
So what do you do after jumping out of a plane? I gave my wife a hug
and a kiss as she had to deal with having an anxiety attack over her husband
jumping out of a plane and then we headed into the Chicagoland Skydiving
Center's very own restaurant and bar for a couple of adult beverages.
Oh a free beer came with our skydive so it would be wrong to pass that up.
Then Kevin and I partook in a Car Bomb which is the tastiest drink out there.
I think he's a little more experienced at chugging one than myself as he
was done in a second while I was still chugging away.
Now normally with a Car Bomb and a beer in me I feel it but with all the
adrenaline still surging through my system I didn't feel a thing.
One of the jumpers said it is best to wait an hour before drinking otherwise
you won't feel it like happened to me. Oh the food at the Flight Deck
Bar & Grill is great and both Bond and I highly suggest the Chocolate
Cheesecake.
My time at the
Chicagoland Skydiving
Center was amazing and I can't wait to go back and jump again.
If you want to jump keep an eye on
Groupon
as they do offer some pretty good deals on a tandem jump every once in a
while. When you go for the first time make sure you get photos and
video of it and when you jump ask for Mike and make sure to tell them at
the desk that Negative-G sent you.
Looking outside I have to say that today would be a good day to jump.
