The Magnum XL-200 Rollercoaster at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio

Arrow's turns have always felt a little off due to awkward transitions into them and their banking not being quite right.

Speeding out of the turnaround Magnum takes you through one of the rides two tunnels. At this point you need to prepare for some insanely intense airtime.

The ejector seat airtime on Magnum's return run can be a bit painful as you shoot up and your thighs slam into the hard rubber coated lap bars. Just take a look at the expression on the guy in the great sweatshirt in the front seat of Magnum for what I'm talking about.

Magnum's return is pretty much ejector airtime, ejector airtime, and ejector airtime over and over.

As a huge airtime fan I loved my rides on magnum despite the coaster showing its age. It was pretty rough this year over what I remembered it to be. Maybe Cedar Point will do a massive overhaul including replacing some of the track like Busch Gardens Williamsburg is doing with the Loch Ness Monster to keep Magnum with us for years to come.
