While enjoying the beach you might be treated to one of the ships that move goods between the US and Canada across Lake Erie.

The Cedar Point Beach at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio

Cedar Point has a walkway that goes from the parking lot all the way back to the campgrounds on the tip of the peninsula that gives access to the beach.

After a day or two of walking all over the massive park it will do your feet some good to take the shoes off and walk around on the sand. The view from the beach is pretty relaxing too.

Here is a little view of the Grand Pavilion's second story seating that I mentioned earlier. The lake breeze and view from up there are wonderful.

As not only a coaster nerd but a history one as well I really like how Cedar Point has not only brought a little of the past back to life but they have signs like these all around the park giving guests a chance to discover a little more about the parks long history.
