The Cass County Carousel was carved by the legendary Gustav Dentzel and it has a menagerie of creatures to ride including giraffes, goats, deer, a tiger and a lion.



If you're not in the mood for an exotic animal don't worry the Cass County Dentzel Carousel has several horses for you to ride.



One of my favorite things of classic hand carved carousels like this one are all the little details the carvers added to the animals like this eagle that's part of one of the horses saddles.



The Cass County Carousel has two chariots for those wanting an easier ride.  I'm not sure if this paint job is original but I like it.
