The Goldrusher is one of the few Arrow Dynamics designed mine trains that has the engine on the front of the train to give it that added little something.



The Carolina Goldrusher, like many mine train coasters, doesn't get super far off the ground.  Even though it doesn't even tower over the trees there is plenty of fun packed into it's layout.



The best part of the Goldrusher you really can't see.  I'm talking about it's trenches, which you can see the top of in the lower third of the photo.  Goldrusher feels like you're in Star Wars and are making the Death Star trench run.  It's pretty cool and a unique feature in a ride.



No, Bond isn't soaked in sweat.  We just kept dousing him with water to keep him cool.  By the end of the day Bond, Paul and myself all had been sick from the heat.  I think for next year's Negative-G Road Trip we're going to pick some time when it's not so hot to go.
