One of the perks to attending Levimania was that we were given tickets
to check out the new Dinosaurs Alive exhibit.
Here's Bond and Paul checking out the dinos.
I'm no fan of upcharge attractions like this. The thing is these attractions
are really smart for the park because they're primarily geared to families
with really little kids. The kids may not be big enough to ride much but
in the long term it gets the families in the habit of coming to the park.
I did notice that a lot of the dinosaurs are having problems with quick
sand as many of them don't have any legs as they've sank into the ground.
I guess quicksand was a lot more prevalent back then...or dinosaurs without
legs cost less to add.
Dinosaur's Alive was fun to check out and Bond liked the dig part of it.
He's still a kid and sandboxes, especially those with bones in it just sucks
them in like a black hole.
