Patriot is not a huge coaster with just a ninety-one foot drop...

...but with most of it squeezed over where the Triple Play and train
once existed it certainly has a bit of a kick.

Patriot wasn't the coaster I had planned for my 500th but it was a
pretty fun ride.

California's Great America is a really great looking park with some
pretty good rides. It might be missing the classics like the Tidal
Wave and The Whizzer but it has a good collection of coasters,
especially RailBlazer, Gold Striker and Patriot.

We had a wonderful time at California's Great America and I need to get
back....The Demon still calls to me.
Now on to the next park on our excursion; Gilroy Gardens.
