The Grizzly Rollercoaster at California's Great America, Santa Clara, California

Going from a coaster that I was really looking forward to riding to one that I wasn't.

I have heard for decades that Grizzly is slow, boring and has square wheels from enthusiast after enthusiast.  I have never heard anyone rave about Grizzly but wanting to be honest I kept an open mind about it.  We actually visited California's Great America for an hour the evening before and the Grizzly was one of the coasters we squeezed into that short span of time.

My thought was in order to get the best ride possible from Grizzly rising it at the end of the day when the grease is all hot and the train is running fast.  Well if I got the best it could give then I am glad I got the credit but I have no plans of riding it again especially with an amazing coaster like RailBlazer a few steps away.  Grizzly was bumpy, rough, had zero air time, was slow and boring as heck.  I'd get into the rides history and who built it but as lame as it was I'm not going to publicize anyone living or dead over this colossal failure.  Just get a ride on it for the credit and move on.

I'm not sure why there was a giant teddy bear statue in the middle of the Action Zone themed section of the park.  I'm also not sure why Travis thought it was super cute and wanted a photo with it.

I like the Tiki theming for the Zamperla Disk-O ride but it really doesn't seem to fit into the "Action Zone" part of the park.  Looking into it during the parks Paramount Parks days it was themed to the TV show "Survivor".  With all of the Paramount intellectual property rights going away Cedar Fair had to call it something so Tiki Twirl was it even though it doesn't fit the park at all.
