The Cobra's Curse rollercoaster at Busch Gardens Tampa, Tampa, Florida

You can get a wonderful view of most of Cobra's Curse from the lift that serves as the block between the backwards and spinning finale section.

Once you crest the lift and begin earthward that's when things get wonky as the cars are free to spin.

The placement of this overbanked turn over the walkway is really just perfect as for those on the ground they get to look up and see the faces of riders as they spin overhead.

The spinning was ok but I need to come back when we are not in the middle of a pandemic for the full experience.  Busch Gardens in order to keep guests safe were seating groups distanced which means that I was the only person in my car so there wasn't much spinning during the spinning section of Cobra's Curse.  Also I need to come back when the pandemic is over as Cobra's Curse doesn't have the highest capacity and with its 8 seat trains loaded at half capacity the line was horrible.  To ride I used my jump to the head of the line pass and it till took me forty-five minutes while the regular line was 2-3 hours.

Cobra's Curse certainly fills a void at Busch Gardens Tampa for the family coaster.  It isn't intense or extreme but it is a fun adventure that the whole family can enjoy.  My only complaint is the rides capacity.

While Busch Gardens may be full of amazing rides you do have to take a break and enjoy the world class zoo that it is between rides.
