This time though I really got Montu. Maybe it was because the last time I took it for a ride I was with a bunch of friends and I was just so happy to see them and to ride coasters in the middle of winter my attention was divided.

This time though it was just me and Montu. No screams. No one to chat with .

Just Montu throwing me around, plunging me into darkness, shooting me out into the bright blue sky, sending me upside down and taking my undivided attention.

Now I get why Montu is many enthusiasts favorite inverted coaster. After lap after lap it certainly is mine.

The Cobra's Curse spinning roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa, Tampa, Florida

With no one back in the Egypt section of Busch Gardens and Cobra's Curse down all morning it was kind of relaxing getting to enjoy the kinetic structure of the ride all frozen in stillness. Like the rest of Busch Gardens the theming around the ride is top notch.
