Like many of the early Arrow log flumes the Stanley Falls Flume does more than take you up and send you splashing down. The ride meanders with several drop including this one that heads into a section of the trough where instead of splashing down the boat speeds through.

As with a proper log flume the Stanley Falls Flume does have a big drop that is at the end of the ride.

The best flumes not only have the big drop and splashdown at the end of the ride but they have a nice place where non riding park guests can enjoy the spectacle of people getting wet....
