Heading deep into the Congo it is time to take a few rides on Kumba.

The Bolliger & Mabillard designed Kumba Roller Coaster at Busch Gardens, Tampa, Florida

At home I hear "Kumba" all the time because a cat we got from my fellow enthusiast Greg was named after this coaster.

This Kumba is way better than the Kumba sleeping next to me on the couch as I write this.

This Kumba was designed by Bolliger & Mabillard and opened up in 1993.

Kumba was the duo's first sit down coaster and it really took the classic Arrow Dynamics designed looping coasters of the 1970's and 1980's and shows how far coaster design and manufacturing had progressed.
