Ok...I wasn't really looking forward to Gwazi as it has had a notorious
past. This dueling coaster has been known to be extremely rough, have
super slow dispatch and for quite a while one of its two tracks has not
been working. Now while I expected the worst I did go into my ride
with an open mind in case everything I was told was wrong.
This greeted us when we entered the station. You see Busch Gardens
has a virtual queue system where those who pay can get on and ride without
waiting. Instead of just letting those people ride when and
if they come to the ride Busch Gardens has roped off four rows of seats
permanently. Now when we were there no one was at the park, I know
there were a few ignorant enough to purchase the virtual queue which was
a huge waste of money as there were no waits; but what about when the station
is full and there's no guests using the virtual queue? From the looks
of it Busch Gardens just leaves these roped off and has a third of the train
totally empty. Yeah that makes no sense.
So as you can see I was in a bad mood in regards to Gwazi by the time I
finally got on board.
To be honest with you I didn't get many pictures of Gwazi because it was
just as bad as I was told. It was rough and really that's all that
can be said about it. There's nothing to praise about this ride...it's
just hurt so much so let's move on to some good rides that are worthy of
pictures and of riding on.
Oh, I wouldn't expect Gwazi's second side to open up anytime soon as Busch
built a bridge over the track so virtual queue people can have access to
Gwazi's one operating track.
Ignore the ugly and rough structure on the horizon...look pretty pink flamingoes.
