The Curse of DarKastle at Busch Gardens Europe, Williamsburg, Virginia

The legend is that people enter the castle and none of them ever make it out.  The guests don't die from our stinky feet, that would only happen if Ken was here.   DarKastle broke down right before we were to get on so we waited.  I don't know took their shoes off first but they said it felt really great to stand on a cool stone floor so soon after we all were shoeless and cooling off quite nicely.

So what is the Curse of DarKastle.  It's a combination of a dark ride, moving vehicles, special effects and 3d movie screens throughout the ride.  It's an immersive experience that you need to ride.

What's the best way to crush grapes in order to make wine?  According to Bond if you want a really fine vintage there's only one thing to use properly crush the grapes; Corey's face.

Everyone dragged me onto Escape from Pompeii.  I'm not a big get totally soaked fan and I hate having squishy shoes all day long so I normally avoid these but the people weren't leaving soaked so I hopped in line.  We chose the front row which was a huge mistake.  You see at the top of the lift right before you enter the burning ruins of Pompeii (which was extremely cook by the way) the boat noses down in the water scooping up about 100 gallons and depositing all of it right on the feet of everyone in the front row...me.  So I had squishy shoes for the rest of the day.  Other than that Escape from Pompeii is a great ride, just make sure you sit in the middle or the back.

As the afternoon started to become evening we had to get ready to go due to a long drive to our next park, Carowinds so the question was what do we have to ride?  It's not shocking that the answer was Griffon.

Again Bond and I were on the outside and the rest of our friends were in the front row with us and it was such a spectacular ride.  It stinks having such a memorable ride so far away from us. Griffon is a coaster that I'd never get bored with.

After decades of dreaming it was great to finally make it here.  Busch Gardens Europe seriously exceeded expectations and I need to get back there again and again.  If you've never been do yourself a favor and start planning a trip.
