Speaking of getting wet as we were finishing up our visit to Beech Bend Bond decided to hop on their Tornado ride.  Well as soon as the ride started so did the rain and it went from a sprinkle to full on downpour in a few seconds. 



Within a minute everyone headed for cover as the rain got worse and worse.



As you can see Bond got a good soaking.



During the storm the only ride that was open was Beech Bend's Carousel so Bond and I took one last ride at Beech Bend.



We had one last glimpse of the Rumbler in our rear view mirror as we headed over the hill and away from Beech Bend.

We had a fun visit to Beech Bend.  It may be just a small park in the middle of Kentucky but we got more than our money worth and if we find ourselves back in the neighborhood we're going to head back for some more.
