Even though it is now dwarfed Beech Bend's Looping Star is getting some tender loving care and a new home.



Beech bend is dismantling it and moving it to a new location only a maybe fifty feet from where it once was.



The Looping Star wasn't up and running this year because Beech Bend decided to order new trains as the old ones were aging and a little rough to ride.  They now have the new trains and from what I hear look pretty sharp.



Also word is that the Looping Star is going to receive a new paint job this winter as well.
