Sunset at The Shallows, Egg Harbor, Door County Wisconsin

The waves were a bit rough for most of the time we were there but on our last night the bay settled down enough for Bond and I to try kayaking. It was nice getting on the water but I'd rather stuck to the row boat or the canoe as my back didn't like the kayak.

Ok, I know another sunset shot but each night the sun setting was so beautiful that I didn't even have to try in order to get a spectacular photo.

With the three of us always going into a million different directions it's hard to grab a family portrait so I snagged Bond during one of his laps around the resort and whipped out the camera and tripod and set the timer and took this.

We had such a good time at The Shallows we're going back next year and for twice the time. If you want to go and take a nice weekend up in Wisconsin to visit the Zippin Pippin and Bay Beach Park take a drive forty-five miles up into Door County and stay a few. You'll love it.
