I loved the Zippin Pippin and Bay Beach Park so we are most definitely coming back. I know we're heading to Door County next year for vacation again so we'll have to use our remaining tickets then and Bay Beach Park is going to host the American Coaster Enthusiasts next year for their Preservation Conference so hopefully we'll be back then as well.

The three of us haven't had a real family vacation for a few years and we had such a good time up in Door County I figured I'd share a few of those pictures with you. We stayed at a resort called The Shallows in Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. The resort is right on the shore and every night we were treated to some of the most amazing sunsets. Actually every evening it seemed that all of the guests would stop whatever they were doing and head on out and grab a seat to watch the show.

Door County has kind of a reputation as a spot for yuppies to go antiquing or wine tasting. None of those things even vaguely appeals to us but there was natural beauty aplenty like this shoreline at Cave Point Park that we had a great time exploring together.
