Why hold on?  You're going to fly no matter what so put your hands in the air and enjoy the weightlessness.



Several times in The Legend's eighty-three years it's life has been in danger.  Most recently was in 1999 when a developer purchased the park and announced that they were going to build condos on the site.



Of course there was a huge public uproar and the developer announced they would sell the park but the $5.5 million they wanted would need to be gotten together in just six weeks.



Arnolds Parks neighbor the Great Lakes Maritime Museum led the effort to save Arnolds Park and reached out to the world via the internet and over seven million dollars was raised to save the park ensuring thrills for years to come.
