Buds!  Bond and Travis have a great time together and were really inseparable during the trip.



It's hot and humid.  Where do you go?  Of course to a water ride.  The water ride I'm talking about is the Wild River George rapids ride.  Doesn't it look like you're going to just get soaked on this ride?



When I was a kid one of the things that I read up on and geeked out on was the study of ancient Egypt.  Wild River George uses this "Archimedes Screw" which was developed by Archimedes in ancient Egypt as a way to get water out of the Nile River and up into irrigation ditches.  Most rapids rides just use pumps to raise the water to the top of the rapids but I thought it was cool to see this one use such very old school technology to do the same thing.



Here we are all dry and ready to get soaked to the bone on Wild River George.  Guess what?  Other than a mister at the entrance to the rides tunnel not a drop of water touched us.  This is the driest rapids ride ever.
