One thing Adventureland has expanded on over the last couple of years is the parks drinking areas.  The Iowa Beer and Wine barn looked like a nice place to hang out as they had live music throughout the day.  I'd sit down for a beer but there was something much better than alcohol drawing me away.



What drew me away was The Monster.



The Monster has been THE ride at Adventureland since its opening in June of 2016.



It is a wickedly twisted "Infinity Coaster" that was designed and built by Gerstlauer rides.



Adventureland has always been a nice little park.  When they added The Monster it really moved the park up more than a few notches and made people take notice.
