After hitting the Tornado I figured I'd get the pain over with so
that I could enjoy the rest of the day.
"The Pain" you ask? Well, just walk past this sign (as long as you're
as tall as the top of the Dragon's nose) and you will know just what I'm
talking about.
The Dragon is Adventureland's only steel coaster and while it looks nice
just trust me, unless you're a local who has never been anywhere else (I
know as several of them told me it was the best coaster ever) it is not.
Now I'm not ripping on Adventureland, I just loathe the coasters that Hopkins
made because their trains must have been designed by a sadist because they're
made for pain. I mean why else would you design a sharp point of rock
hard foam right where the back of most adults heads would sit? Mix
that with some track that is a bit rough and the most memorable part of
your ride is the sharp pain that comes whenever it throws your head back
into the seat. That is The Dragon.
