This is what I'm talking about surprise soaking.  You see if you have two heavily weighted boats in a row the first boat comes down the drop, makes a splash then goes around the horseshoe turn and stops in the brakes.  Since the boat is heavy it is sitting low in the water.  Then gthe next heavily weighted boat comes down, creates a huge splash as would be expected.  Well the River Rapids splashdown area is not in a lake but is in the trough and the big wave travels around the horseshoe turn and crashes OVER the rear of the boat in the brakes suddenly and unexpectedly soaking whoever is sitting in the back of the boat.  You may have to wait a little while to catch this but it's hilarious when it happens.



One thing that Adventureland really has going for it is a huge selection of flat rides including a Cuddle-Up, Tilt-A-Whirl, carousel, Falling Star, and a bunch more including this Paratrooper.



While it's definitely not a flat ride Adventureland's Space Shot is a blast.



Yay!!!  But I didn't see any smoking areas in the park so I wonder if smokers have to leave in order to light up?
