The saying goes that good things come in small packages and
ZDT's Amusement Park in Seguin Texas certainly fits that idiom to a
Seguin is the county seat of Guadalupe County a little under an
hours drive east of San Antonio. The town has about 26,000
people. Driving into town it really didn't seem like the sort
of a place for an amusement park. Seguin is not a big town, in
fact it reminds me of one of the larger towns here in rural Western
Illinois where I live and there is no way I would have imagined
anyone would build a park in one of them. But to throw another idiom
out here "fortune favors the bold" and ZDT's owners Danny and Sarah

who would have looked at a old industrial site and say "let's turn
this into an amusement park"? Walking around and through ZDT's
Amusement Park Bond and I were really blown away at the audacity and
ingenuity of the transformation of the site.
ZDT's has a go kart track, spinning ride, flight simulator, indoor
rock wall, the silo climb, a trampoline, indoor playground, two
water slides, a water coaster, two arcades and...
