After getting stuffed with pulled pork it was time to go and take Patriot for a ride.

By the way the outside seating at the Cotton Blossom Bar B Que is a wonderful vantage to get some great shots of Patriot.

Patriot is one of the four coasters that really make Worlds of Fun. Patriot, Prowler, Mamba (and now Timber Wolf) are the rides that make Worlds of Fun such a fantastic park.

I waffle back and forth on what my favorite inverted coaster is but Patriot is one of the two that I keep either declaring my favorite or declaring it my second favorite. It has everything that makes a good inverted coaster...a spiraling drop, aerobatic inversions and some high speed low to the ground runs where you can just enjoy the speed of flight.

The Bamboozler at Worlds of Fun, Kansas City, Missouri

No I did not ride Bamboozler. There is no way my stomach; empty or filled with pulled pork, could survive that experience. I just love this ride because it is one of the parks original rides, it has an insanely cool name and the light package on it is super cool at night.
